Smart blinds for optimal home comfort in Oud-Heverlee

The project in a nutshell

For a family in Oud-Heverlee, we installed a combination of awnings, screens and window styling to create an optimal living environment both inside and outside. The residents wanted to darken the children’s rooms, temper the heat on the terrace and provide extra privacy, without compromising on style.

Challenges and solutions

Thanks to the modern architecture of the neighborhood in which this house is located, sleek shading solutions were chosen that could be perfectly integrated into the facade. Screens with blackout fabric ensure that children’s rooms stay cool and dark so they can enjoy an optimal night’s sleep.

For the terrace, we installed an awning with wind protection, allowing residents to enjoy a pleasant outdoor space even on sunny days and warm evenings. This screen also helps reduce heat at the large living room window.

Finally, we installed a roller blind as a discreet and stylish solution to create extra privacy without detracting from the sleek interior.
